Project Details

Legendary is a leading entertainment/media company with film, television, digital and comic divisions dedicated to owning, producing, and delivering content to mainstream audiences. It has established itself as a trusted brand delivering high quality commercial entertainment.

Felderman Keatinge’s philosophy was to design a space with a classic and timeless feel with subtle links to old Hollywood and convey Legendary’s vision of permanence, creativity, and passion.

FKA was asked to be engaged on every level, working with the executive committee and marketing group not only to design custom furniture, fixtures and carpet, but to create all the art in the space.

Upon entering one is immediately aware of the substantial or world class nature of the company conveyed by the scale of the various spaces including reception, boardroom, screening room.   Large open spaces are used for multi purposes, i.e reception for town hall meetings or pre-function prior to film screenings.

Sense of fun in relation to brand is conveyed by inclusion of an abstracted version of one of Legendary’s film characters, and a painting in the lobby of the cityscape of the CEO’s hometown, populated by monsters and heroes from company’s films, as well as the separate comic book library with its comic book wallpaper all designed and/or painted by Felderman Keatinge.
