Oversee.net is a creative internet firm which reflects a youthful culture and brand. The firm’s objective was to move into the 43rd and 44th floors of a downtown high profile high rise and create a space that did not feel too corporate. With the exception of (6) principles, all employees are in workstations and conference rooms, lounge areas, telephone rooms, game rooms, training room and lunchroom that could also convert into a town square, handling 365 employees.
Felderman Keatinge & Associates revamped the Haworth Race system and designed privacy panels and open storage units. They also conceived of a nautilus style workstation for the technology group that fostered collaboration utilizing conference tables in the middle thus allowing for as many as 10 to 15 employees to turn around, carry on meetings and then turn back to their computers. White boards and Wall talker was used throughout for impromptu meetings and business plans, providing an open forum for self-expression. The design firm created a space with fuzzy borders that would allow departments to expand and contract seamlessly.
